Conference: (R)evolution of Europe's Press

The conference “(R)EVOLUTION OF EUROPE’S PRESS” will take place in Wroclaw, Poland, on July 1st. The conference is an invitation-only event which will focus and debate on the challenges faced by today’s media sector in Europe.

"Recent developments in Hungarian, Polish, Slovakian and Czech media present a relevant starting point to kick-off the debate and illustrate how national and European politics impact media freedom, and how the need for high investment in investigative journalism, diversity and truly independent media content can be embedded best in a sustainable business approach in times of technological innovation and new competition."

This conference is being organised by a coalition of media and journalist organisations and it is is being sponsored in part by the Future Media Lab .
