The 9th Edition of the International Science for Peace Conference aims to address some relevant issues concerning the role of science within our societies:

  • How does the relationship between citizens, media and scientific knowledge evolve in the current context dominated by digital technologies?
  • What are the consequences of this new scenario for democracy and for cooperation between states?
  • How can the scientific community effectively contribute to public debate on some of the most important issues of our time, such as health, climate change, technological transformation and the future of work?
