Fact-checking in the EU

On September 27 and 28, 2018, the European Parliament (EP) hosts in Brussels a conference for fact-checking organisations ahead of the upcoming EU elections. 60 fact-checkers, representing most EU countries, will exchange experiences from previous elections, talk with MEPs and meet experts on the spread of information and disinformation. The conference will be opened by EP president Antonio Tajani and Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society.
