ECPMF welcomes EU whistleblowing directive proposal
After at least two years of negotiations the EU Commission finally decided to strengthen legal protection for whistleblowers.

On Monday, April 23rd, 2018 First Vice-President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans and Justice Commissioner Vera Jourová presented a new proposal for an EU-wide Whistleblower Directive. Recent cases like Cambridge Analytica, Panama Papers and Dieselgate have again shown how important it is to shield those who expose wrongdoing.
