The Training Resource Hub forms part of Media Defence’s training programme, strengthening the capacity of lawyers defending journalists.
These resources are aimed at an audience of lawyers interested in litigating digital rights and freedom of expression cases. The Hub can also be useful for law students and legal practitioners.
Themes range from freedom of expression to digital rights, restricting internet access, defamation, privacy, security and data protection, including cybercrimes, hate speech, censorship, misinformation and litigations on the topic.
There is also a resource library with a collection of court decisions, fact sheets, training manuals and modules produced by Media Defence.
