Daphne Caruana Galizia: we want the truth. The Whole Truth
"We want the truth", is the title of a hypnotising video installation by German artist Joanna Vortmann on the murder of Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. A split screen shows the streets of Malta, beautiful architecture and nature, and again and again signs put up by people demanding a full independent investigation of the still unresolved murder.
Cologne-based artist Joanna Vortmann has created the video-installation to honour murdered journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. The work is dedicated to and to all journalists who have been murdered because they were investigating the truth, the artist says.
