Critical Media Literacy: Who Needs It?

The Centre for Critical Media Literacy of the Dublin Institute of Technology  (DIT) will host a conference, 'Critical Media Literacy: Who needs it?' which aims to investigate mission and methodology of media education. Themed sessions will include: critical understanding of ‘experts’; media literacy as a classroom subject; and the ‘computational turn’ in the creation and understanding of media phenomena.
