IAMCR Conference 2016 - Memory, Comemoration and Communication: Looking Back, Looking Forward

The 2016 conference of the International Association for Media and Communication Research - IAMCR 2016 - will be held from July 27-31 in Leicester, United Kingdom. Hosted by the Department of Media and Communication  at the University of Leicester .

The conference theme is Memory, Commemoration and Communication: Looking Back, Looking Forward . At the heart of the IAMCR annual conference is the work of sections and working groups which provide the opportunity to present papers in a wide range of areas of study in media and communication, and to meet scholars from around the world with overlapping research interests. This year's conference theme seeks to explore the relationship between memory, commemoration and communication.
