An interview for the Swiss section of Amnesty International by Erol Önderoglu, journalist and representative of Reporters without Borders in Turkey, arrested on June 20, 2016 with charges of "terrorist propaganda"

On June 20, 2016, Erol Önderoglu, representative of Reporters Without Borders Turkey, has been taken in pre-trial detention on the grounds of terror propaganda. Together with him, Ahmet Nesin, a freelance journalist, and Şebnem Korur Fincancı, head of the Turkey Human Rights Foundation. They are accused of terrorist propaganda for expressing solidarity and participating in events organized by the Kurdish media outlet Özgür Gündem.
