ECPMF conference “Defending journalists under threat”

The European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF)  organises a one-day conference at the Leipzig School of Media to discuss practical solutions to tackle the threats that journalists are facing today. Violations to press and media freedom are sadly increasing in Europe and especially in Turkey, Hungary, Poland and Ukraine. The conference will focus on the legal support to provide to whistleblowers, safe houses away from home for media workers and needed political changes
