Under Siege

The International Press Institute (IPI) hosts the event “Under Siege: Press Freedom and the Rule of Law in Turkey” to analyse the current situation of press freedom with journalists and lawyers from Turkey as well as European experts.

The two main panels are:

• The View from the Inside: How Independent Journalism Is Surviving Against the Odds in Turkey
• Europe’s Role in Protecting Fundamental Rights in Turkey
