Call for papers: De-constructing Crisis, European Humanities University (Vilnius)

This year’s topic is “Europe 2016. De-constructing Crisis: Searching for New Forms of Knowledge, Identification, Solidarity” . The conference is hosted by the European Humanities University and we invite YOU to participate. The deadline for application submission  is March 15, 2016.

Among the sections planned as part of the conference, several deal with media and information, such as:

• Crisis in/of the media: politics, technology and critical theory of dual representation
• Return of propaganda: archeology of vulnerable consciousness
•  Ukrainian crisis and the media
• Journalism in the age of new media: crisis or a new quality of information production?
