Capturing Human Rights: 2016 Photo & Art Contest

Freedom House is now accepting submissions for its 5th Annual Photo and Art Contest, themed “Capturing Human Rights.”

The 2016 Freedom House Photo and Art Contest begins Monday, July 11, 2016 and ends Friday, September 9, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. US Eastern Time. Professional and amateur photographers and artists are invited to submit photos and other forms of art (including but not limited to cartoons, prints, paintings, drawings, graphic art and more) that reflect and celebrate the themes of human rights and freedom.

Semifinalists chosen by Freedom House will be displayed and auctioned as a fundraiser on October 20, 2016 in Washington, DC. The winning photo will be featured on the Freedom House website, Facebook and Twitter, in our newsletter, and will receive a $300 cash prize. Works from any country or region of the world will be considered.
