KAS Media Program SEE Internship opportunity - Bulgaria

KAS Media Program South East Europe, based in Sofia, Bulgaria, is offering 2-3 month internship from September 2016.

Responsibilities of the intern will include:

• Assisting in the planning and organisation of international media conferences and other events
• Supporting the planning, implementation and evaluation of our online communication activities
• Making translations from German to English and vice versa
• Conducting qualified research on media issues in South East Europe
• Office tasks
• You will work closely with colleagues of the KAS Media Program’s team in Sofia and report directly to the Head of the office. The working language is German.

This opportunity is open to: 

• Students or alumni in journalism, political science or other humanities
• Experience in editorial work and/or professional online communications
• A strong interest in politics and media in South East Europe
• Excellent knowledge of English and German language
• Basic knowledge of a Slavic language and the Cyrillic alphabet is an advantage
