When developing policy and legislation, the European Commission regularly seeks views of citizens and stakeholders.
On November 13th a public consultation has been launched on fake news and disinformation online to assess both the effectiveness of counter-measures put in place by industry and possible actions at EU/national level. The consultation will close on 23 February 2018.
