The program balances the principles of public service journalism with the technology for data gathering, analysis, mapping and visualization. Students will pursue public interest stories that counteract corruption and mismanagement and foster governmental transparency and accountability at the local, national and regional level through data and digital storytelling.

The working language for the institute is English. To apply, you need to be a university student in Albania or from the Western Balkans region, or a young journalist endorsed by your employer. All costs related to participation will be covered by organizers.
