An international team of journalists has come together to continue the work of Daphne Caurana Galizia, brutally murdered in 2017 in a car bomb attack in Malta. In their investigations, they started to uncover clues that might lead to her killers.
At the beginning of July 2022, an interview with George Degiorgio conducted during research for this podcast led to his confession to the crime. Speaking from jail, he said if he had known more about Daphne Caruana Galizia, he would have asked for more money to kill her.
