The Fažana Media Fest is an international multimedia journalism festival that promotes the dialogue on important issues concerning journalism and the society in which we live.
This year's edition, which will take place as always in Fažana from 5 to 11 September, will be dedicated to women and the media. The central theme of the event will take shape in the various meetings, workshops, panels and lectures that will address the role of women employed in the media and how women are represented in the media.
The Fažana Media Fest is organised by CIN-IJC with the support of the Municipality and the tourist association of Fažana, Informo association, Media Diversity Institute and the South Eastern European Network for Professionalization of Media (SEENPM). IFEX, Reporting Diversity Network 2.0, the European Commission and the Embassy of Sweden are partners.
