Newsocracy opened its doors on January 30th, 2018 at the MediaLab Prado in Madrid. Around 80 participants from all over Europe gathered at the conference of the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF), the Plataforma en Defensa de la Libertad de Información (PDLI) and the Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso Transeuropa (OBCT) to discuss media ownership concentration and media pluralism in Europe.
