This position paper focuses on challenges currently affecting media freedom in EU member states and in candidate and potential candidate countries. The paper was presented in November 2015 on occasion of the international conference TransEurope promoted by OBC.
The final draft presented here includes the comment put forward by OBC media partner during the seminar, highlighting specific elements of concern for the protection and promotion of media freedom and pluralism in the countries of South-East Europe, in the light of EU leverage power within member states and Enlargement countries.
