This report contains the findings and the recommendations of the delegation about two main topics: defamation and SLAPPs on one side, measure to monitor and prevent intimidations against journalists on the other side.
The mission included meetings with a judge of the Italian Constitutional Court, with several Members of Parliament, with the Antimafia Commission, and with journalists, both reporters under police protection, and young groups of freelance journalists and videomakers.
