face to face training

The 2024 Roberto Morrione Prize for Investigative Journalism, now in its thirteenth edition, has supported over a hundred young journalists who had conducted 47 investigations, leading to impactful revelations recognizednationally and internationally. The Premio Roberto Morrione Academy, an initiative stemming from past awardees, invites winners to serve as instructors during a 3-day residential training that will take place in Foggia from May 9 to 11, 2024. The Academy will examine winning investigations as case studies, featuring experienced investigative journalists. Open to individuals under the age of 30, the application process involves submitting a CV and a 3-minute video. The selection of 22 participants, including at least 5 from the Apulia region, will be determined by a commission associated with the Roberto Morrione Prize and the Provincial Council for Legality of Foggia. Results will be communicated by March 21, 2024, with the Academy scheduled for May 9-11, requiring participants to arrive on May 8 and depart on May 12. All costs for accommodation and meals will be covered by the Academy, while participants are responsible for travel expenses.
