Organized by the Investigative journalism platform The Ferret and the Centre for Investigative Journalism (CIJ), this three-month training and mentoring program will be held in Edinburgh and Glasgow (Scotland) at weekends. Tentative dates are April 21st and 22nd; May 13th; June 6th, 7th and 17th.
Participants will learn inspiring examples of storytelling and reportage, how to submit Freedom of Information requests, find and scrutinize public and online data and records, as well as tools and techniques to tell their story in an effective and captivating way.
There are just 15 places. Registration costs are GBP 75 for the general public and GBP 48 for Ferret members. There are some free places for participants from marginalized communities.
