In the afternoon of 25th October, after the introduction by Radomir Krackovic, Vice-President of Journalists’ Union of Montenegro (TUMM) and Renate Schroeder, EFJ Director, panels will concentrate on the role of photojournalists in the digital age and the challenges they face – ethics, diversity, picture manipulation/editing and making their work paid in a competitive market flooded with user-generated images. Then, on business models and diversity.
The second day will be introduced by Yuk Lan Wong, EFJ policy and project officer, and will have a session about photojournalists at risk, with reporters from Finland, Germany and Montenegro. Another session will be about union campaigns to promote photojournalism and photojournalists.
