Women in News (WIN) - Stakeholders

Women in News (WIN) aims to increase women’s leadership and voices in the news. It does so by equipping women journalists and editors with the skills, strategies, and support networks to take on greater leadership positions within their media. In parallel, WIN partners with media organisations to identify industry-led solutions to close the gender gap in their newsrooms, boardrooms and in the content they produce.

WIN is currently working with more than 80 media from 12 countries throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East including: Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe (WIN Africa) and  Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine (WIN MENA). WIN Southeast Asia launched in early 2018

Internews has worked in more than 90 countries, and currently has offices in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and North America.

Scoop - Support Centres

SCOOP is a network and support structure for investigative journalists in Eastern Europe, Russia, Caucasus, and Central Asia. It provides financial and professional support to investigative journalists. It was founded in 2003 by the Danish Association of Investigative Journalism (FUJ).

Investigative Journalists of Armenia (HETQ) - Stakeholders

Hetq Online has been published since 2001 in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, by the Association of Investigative Journalists NGO. It has been publishing its articles and investigations also in English since 2002. In 2004, the organisation re-registered as the Investigative Journalists NGO. Since 2017, it has been conducting a programme to help develop investigative journalism in Central Asia.
