Access Info Europe: Accessing companies registers #2

In the wake the commitment to guarantee the right to access information of public relevance, Access Info Europe has filed requests to 32 European countries to obtain the access to the company register database. This infographic shows how many working days it took for each one of the countries surveyed to answer the access to information request.

After filing the request to access a full copy of the national Company Register database in 32 European countries, Access Info Europe calculated how many working days it took to receive an answer.

The next infographic shows an average of 9 days. Netherlands replied in 0,5 days but Serbia did the same after 46 days. It is worth to underline that five countries (France, Germany, Greece, Kosovo and Norway) did not provide an answer at all.

This initiative is part of the campaign Accessing Company Registers , promoted by Access Info Europe in cooperation with the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project.
