Chiara Sighele: Creating transnational networks for media freedom

This short video presents the contribution of Chiara Sighele - project manager of the project European Centre for Press and Media Freedom at Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa (OBCT) - in the panel "Media and journalism in the WB6: a very European issue" held in Trieste in the context of the Civil Society Forum (July 10-12, 2017).

This short video is the first of a series recorded on the sidelines of the panel "Media and journalism in the WB6: a very European issue" held in the framework of the Civil Society Forum in Trieste (July 2017). In this video, Chiara Sighele - project manager of the project European Centre for Press and Media Freedom  at Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa  (OBCT)- highlights the importance of building transnational networks of independent media outlets and civil society organisations to support the process of reforms and protect media freedom in the Western Balkans.
