We, the undersigned organisations, cautiously welcome today’s announcement by the Maltese Government that they will update terms of reference and the composition of the Board of Inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia. Über die Funktionsweise des Helpdesk:
Der Helpdesk hat das Ziel Journalist*Innen im Exil in Deutschland zu unterstützen und sie darin zu befähigen ihrer journalistischen Arbeit nachzugehen. Der Helpdesk reagiert damit auf die Herausforderungen mit denen Journalist*Innen im Exil konfrontiert sind.
„Neben der Koordination und Finanzierung von verschiedenen Unterstützungsangeboten, vergeben wir Mikrostipendien für Praktika, um die berufliche Qualifikation von Journalist*innen im Exil zu unterstützen,“ so Katrin Schatz, die Helpdesk-Managerin.
